100 Monkeys - Mission and Founding Statement
The mission of 100 Monkeys is to rapidly restore resilience to the human race through enabling the sharing and marketing of process, product, and shared compute power of a community network.
A strong artisan-based community network is the most resilient of networks. The shunting of people’s ideas into “you must stay inside these lines” has reduced that to factory workers punching a clock and pushing buttons. And that goes to the highest levels of the enterprise.
This starts with education, cooperation, and sharing of knowledge. Knowledge by itself does not bring understanding. Only practice and craftsmanship training can produce that. That is the domain of the artisan.
The artisan has a responsibility to the community to pass on their craft so their legacy does not pass with them. We intend to foster and empower the position of the Artisan.
